Is it better to have the exams before or after Christmas?

On the one hand, since we start the school year, teachers start to give us all subjects of a course, and then start all exams. In many cases the students have an exam of English on Monday and in the same week other exam of Science on Thursday. In the next week, they follow having more and more exams. Furthermore teachers follow explaining more and more subjects. It is a completely madness for me, but when the Christmas arrive, the students that have passed their exams could have a good Christmas.

However, this year in the University, the students of English Studies have their exams after Christmas during January. On the one hand, it is better because during this month, they only have five days with exams, but the rest of days they do not have to go to University, like this, they can study better. But, on the other hand, they have to pass all Christmas worried and studying a lot to pass their exams. And it is a crap!  

I do not know what could be the solution, or maybe yes, but for the students doing exams is always a problem. The case is complaining about everything. But, the reality is that if the students have the exams before Christmas, they will have exams all weeks and they will have to go to the school at the same time. Although they could enjoy in Christmas. But, if the students have the exams after Christmas, they will have to study during their holidays. To conclude, willy-nilly the students have to do exams when our teachers want, because doing exams is a good tool to evaluate us, although the students are harmed.
